What a success! We're blown away by the outpouring of support from our past event, the Central Coast Birth, Baby, Family, & Wellness Expo, held on May 14th, 2022 in Arroyo Grande. The event has received many positive reviews. We are grateful and thank each of the event sponsors, supporters, vendors, and volunteers for their impactful contributions. Thank you to the Central Coast Families who took the time to inform and educate themselves and their families on their journey from Preconception through parenting at our recent EXPO. Prior to the Expo, through community donations we were able to giveaway four beautifully wrapped themed baskets through our social media pages and one Grand Prize at the Expo.
See what one of our attendees said:
“It was great for my first time wife and I. Never knew all the different possibilities and things that were at the show. Maybe my wife did but I sure didn't. The ladies all seemed very helpful and engaged with the people coming to the event. I didn't feel pressure and all around everyone had a great attitude. We would definitely recommend going to just get the experiences and see who's out there to help. Very thoughtful and well put together. Thank you!” We definitely heard similar responses from the community.
This EXPO aims to connect the community and providers to share information, provide education, and engage in advocacy for evidence-based birth & wellness options as well as provide a fun family experience. Generous contributions by event sponsors, supporters, volunteers, vendors helped make our vision a reality by helping to offset the cost of holding the Expo in a large, open indoor/outdoor venue and bring together vendors and volunteers that positively impacted the experience for families and children in attendance including a food truck, reading nook area with a special reading time by District 3 Supervisor Dawn Ortiz-Legg, kid craft table, balloon photobooth backdrop, ice cream cart, resource bags, event photographers, and more!
One vendor also commented:
"I thought the entire event went well. I will definitely participate again."
